Matt West is the founder of Western Filmhouse and a career broadcast and production professional with more than a decade of commercial experience in live video, broadcast audio, and multi-platform media.

His background bridges two disciplines that are often treated separately: video production and broadcast audio engineering.  That combination gives Matt an unusually broad understanding of what happens both in front of the camera and behind the scenes—from cameras, lighting, and live switching to microphones, audio processing, and the technical systems that bring a program to air.

Matt’s work has ranged from commercial and promotional video, social media content, and live productions to high-profile projects in Washington, D.C., where he has worked with political leaders, media personalities, and nationally recognized figures.  His production experience includes work involving Vice President Mike Pence, Ambassador Nikki Haley, Speaker Mike Johnson, Majority Whip Tom Emmer, Congressman Jeff Crank, television host Mike Rowe, Fox News contributor Guy Benson, political commentator Mary Katharine Ham, and Leadership Institute founder Morton Blackwell.

Matt is also a familiar voice on Colorado Springs radio. His broadcast career has included work with 98.1 KKFM, 92.9 Peak-FM, and 740 KVOR.  Today, he hosts a weekly talk-radio program on AM 1460 and FM 101.1 The Answer and supports broadcast operations at KGFT 100.7 The Word.

At Western Filmhouse, Matt brings those years of daily, hands-on industry experience to every client and every project.  His ability to move comfortably between creative direction, technical production, broadcast audio, live programming, and client needs is central to the Western Filmhouse approach: experienced people using capable technology to create media that sounds exceptional, looks exceptional, and delivers for the client.

Chaim Goldman, known as “The Watchman,” has spent more than four decades working at the intersection of communication, media, entrepreneurship, marketing, and ministry.  Trained from an early age in public speaking and performance as well as audio and video production, Chaim has built a career around helping people communicate ideas clearly, effectively, and authentically.

A magna cum laude graduate of Boston University’s College of Communication, Chaim earned a Bachelor of Science in Broadcasting and Film, with studies in History and Political Science.  His professional career has included an eclectic mix of creative and entrepreneurial ventures, sales and marketing, audiovisual production, public speaking, broadcasting, and ministry.

From January 2023 through June 2026, Chaim worked with Salem Media Group in Colorado Springs as both on-air talent and Coordinator of Special Projects.  He was heard regularly on 100.7 FM The Word and AM 1460/FM 101.1 The Answer, including the longstanding interview program Partners in the Gospel, as well as in commercial and promotional productions.

At Western Filmhouse, Chaim serves as Senior Producer and leads Program Development and Marketing. His particular strength is helping clients turn an idea into a program that fits both the personality of the host and the audience they want to reach.  He works closely with clients on concept development, program structure, presentation, on-air coaching, and audience strategy, while collaborating with the technical team to make sure the finished program is as strong behind the scenes as it is in front of the camera or microphone.

Whether helping an experienced communicator refine an established program or developing something new from the ground up, Chaim’s goal is the same: to help each client create a distinctive, compelling, world-class program that feels genuinely their own.

Chaim is also the Executive Producer and Host of The Peak News, hyper-local citizen journalism for the Pikes Peak region, which is making it’s new home at Western Filmhouse.  He is also the Executive Director of The Peak News Educational Foundation, a nonprofit with the mission to train up a new generation of ethical citizen journalists, in order to restore trust in the media, especially as the local level.

Chaim and his wife, Kim, have been married for 24 years and have lived, worked, and ministered throughout the United States and Israel.  They now make their home in El Paso County, Colorado, with their family.
